Datuk Adnan Hj Abu Bakar diligently served Military Service for 40 years, year in year out and have the experience of practicing Warfare Techniques in Malaysia and in foreign countries in order to bring Malaysia Army to a greater position.

He Was appointed as the Advance Liaison Team Leader cum Armor Squadron Leader of United Nations Protection Force Malaysia (UNPROFOR) stationed in Bosnia Herzegovina for a year in 1993 – 1994.

He also have the exposure in managing a team and training people which includes skills of people management, intelligence Collecting, Training and Development, Logistic, Staff Disciplinary, Ceremonials and Protocol.

As an Army Inspector General, His main job criteria is to produce guidelines and auditing all Army Organizations and Units.
